Overview
FAST (basic skills) is an on-duty program of the U.S. Army that provides instruction in the improvement of basic educational competencies necessary for job proficiency, advanced military schooling, and career progression. The FAST program focuses on reading, English grammar, mathematics, and computer skills needed for both military career and civilian academic success.
Registration for FAST is accomplished at the Army Education Center after consultation with an Army Education Counselor.
