- Central Texas College conducted training for members of the Romanian military at the Hohenfels training area in November. The drivers' training course was conducted under the Advance Vehicle Maintenance contract, and included training in the proper preventive maintenance, checks and services procedures (PMCS); safe operation; and emergency procedures on the M998 HMMWV. Romanian service members will be conducting joint coalition training in Hohenfels prior to their deployment.

- 40 soldiers from the Czech Republic recently successfully completed an Operator/Operator Maintenance Course in Vilseck, Germany. The program is part of Central Texas College’s Military Training Program, and is designed to train coalition forces in the safety, maintenance and driving techniques required for the M1151A1 Armored Expanded Capacity Utility Truck. The course, which includes 24 hours of training, is available to military service members from Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and Slovenia.

- Central Texas College Europe Campus held graduation in Mannheim, Germany; Lakenheath, England; Rota, Spain; and in Vicenza, Aviano and Sigonella, Italy during May and June of this year. Approximately 150 students stationed in Europe and the Middle East received their Associate’s degree from Central Texas College during the 2007-2008 academic year. Congratulations!
